Cross-country runner and major Jennifer Lawrence fan, Cameron Cavanaugh is a fantastic example of a future role model. As a freshman, Cameron has already made himself known to the fellow students and faculty of Wilson. In the beginning of the year, he won the freshman student body vice president. But other than the September student of the month and a Mr. Wilson candidate, what is Cameron really like?

By Megan Seyler Contemplative, flexible, and relaxed - not exactly the words one would typically use to describe a busy, hard-working, and intelligent high school honors student. And yet, Wilson senior Jenny Xie disrupts the status quo by gracefully managing to be an excelling student, musician, writer, and friend while simultaneously maintaining her calm and cool demeanor. By Jada Butler If you know Ryan Sullivan, senior, then you know that he has a knack for making a lot of noise. Sound design and music production, or musicality, are among his favorite things to do. While being a member of Wilson Media Productions and Wilson Theater Company all through his highschool career, he has had access to sound boards to hone in his skills towards making his future career goal: to become a Sound Designer. “Two years ago, I realized I could do this as a job,” says Ryan. “I originally wanted to do music production, but I realized I liked making music for myself and didn’t want to make the ‘Next Top 100’ track.” Ryan goes on to explain that his job is to tell a story to make people feel a certain way. |
