Q: I’m not bragging or anything, but I get pretty good grades in my classes. I’ve always been a good student, but for some reason, my grades are not what they used to be. I’m still working the same amount, maybe even more. The problem is my teacher has no idea what she’s talking about half of the time. She can’t explain concepts very well, and whenever we ask questions in class, she kind of just avoids the question. I know she’s trying, but it’s hurting me in the process. I feel like I’m not learning as much as I should be. Please help.

By Kelly Brennan Wilson High School Principal, Dr. George Fiore, accepted Kutztown High School’s Superintendent position on Monday, April 18, 2016 at their school board meeting. “I couldn’t sleep for days,” said Fiore as he tried to decide what to next with his career. After a unanimous vote by the Kutztown school board, Fiore will be the high school’s Superintendent on Aug. 1, 2016. Q: One of my best friends has been feeling really sad ever since the beginning of the year. He doesn’t talk to most of his friends, his grades have dropped, and he just seems really apathetic and depressed. I’m even starting to worry he’s thinking about hurting himself. His family situation isn’t very good either, and I don’t think his dad will recognize his son might have a problem. How can I help? |
