By Amanda Le Madison Rohrbach, a member of Wilson High School's class of 2018, has charitably provided her school with a sliver of her perceptive input upon life. Demonstrating hard-willed dedication for the sake of others, Rohrbach's contagious core tenets have reached the hearts of Wilson. These tenets, deriving from past struggles, paved a luminescent pathway which allowed Rohrbach to embark herself upon a dignified life. Rohrbach thrives upon providing others with help of any kind, eager for the opportunity regardless of whether the task is minuscule or time-consuming. Many students have the utmost respect and appreciation for her constant, undying loyalty to the school. Her allegiance is best known from being involved in Wilson’s Literary Magazine, Starcatcher’s stage crew, the Chair of Events in Aevidum, Operations Captain in Minithon, and Vice-President for Students for Life. These accomplishments came a long way due to undergoing changes in Rohrbach's life. Now that she has immersed herself into Wilson's community, she could say that transitioning from freshman year was a leaping advancement.
In addition to gaining satisfaction from connecting with family, friends, and especially dogs, Rohrbach is prepared to carry the weight of each individual and climb up the snow-capped mountain, endure the brisk contesting winds, and put her personal motives to use. "In the future, I want to do something that helps others. I am really into medicine, especially emergency medicine, or I might go into research for cancer or immunology in search for new cures. However, right after I graduate from high school, I desire to travel, and then the day when I turn 18, I will go skydiving,” she explained. “I am kind of an adrenaline junkie and I hope to just live life to the fullest, and never back down from a challenge. Ultimately, I hope to just go sort of crazy and do all kinds of fun things like tough mudders, amusement parks, volunteering for different events." Rohrbach's actions speak louder than her words. To her, nothing can be compared to the pure satisfaction gained from being in service for others, spreading positive core messages, and making someone's day. She is always willing to help others at her own expense, and is aware of how much of an impact that simple acts of kindness can make. The final question asked during this delightful interview was what superpower Rohrbach would like to have, if any. "Super strength," Rohrbach replied. "It not only applies to physical attributes, but also with my mentality. Having strong resolve is the key component to life. As Kalu had said, 'The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.'" "I feel happy when I can help others and make sure they don't have to worry. Helping others also helps me battle depression. I feel that super strength will aid me in upholding my values."
