By Kyle Edelman For the past five years, the NBA’s best overall power forward has been Blake Griffin; he combines smooth scoring with fierce rebounding and masterful passing, but his latest outbreak might have even his strongest supporters questioning his presence among the greats. According to reports from Foxsports.com, Griffin threw a punch at the Clippers assistant equipment manager at a Toronto restaurant on January 23rd. If that wasn’t worse enough, he broke his right shooting hand in the process causing him to miss another 4-6 weeks of playing time. Griffin had been out since December 26th after suffering a torn quadriceps muscle.

By Kris Jones Oh, Chip Kelly, how far you have fallen. From hope in the ESPN acclaimed “sports purgatory” to the laughingstock of the entire city of Philadelphia. For those who do not know Chip Kelly, here’s a bit of backstory of the man himself. Chip was a nationally acclaimed college coach who coached the Oregon Ducks and Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota. After former Eagles head coach Andy Reid was fired from the team due to poor performance, who would be hired to replace Andy? Well, Chip Kelly, of course. After a course of good seasons with the Ducks, Chip jumped at the offer to coach on the professional stage.
By JaJuan Hook If I told you at the beginning of the NFL season that the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos were headed to Super Bowl 50, you would think I was crazy. After winning their conference championships, they are meeting up on February 7 to battle it out for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
While Denver had to hang on in the final seconds of the AFC Championship Game to solidify a 20-18 win against the New England Patriots, the Carolina Panthers jumped out to a 17-0 lead against the Arizona Cardinals and then cruised to a 49-15 win. By Kris Jones The 2016 College Football National Championship pitted the #2 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide against Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers that turned out to be, in the college football fans’ eyes, an instant classic. The road to the National Championship seemed like a breeze for number 1 Clemson. They had arguably the best quarterback in the ACC, DeShaun Watson, and possibly the best head coach in the ACC in Dabo Swinney. Luckily, both Dabo and Deshaun will return next season to the Tigers, making the team’s national title hopes a lot brighter. Although they do lose defensive end Shaq Lawson, linebacker B.J. Goodson, and defensive tackle D.J. Reader to graduation, Clemson has a lot of talent coming in next season.
