By Autumn Heckman Saving up and paying for college is never easy. A lot of students may even say it’s too expensive for their budget or taste. But while college may be expensive, you have to look at the other side of things. Depending on which college you chose to attend, the price may vary. However, the more you pay, the more knowledge you receive. Possessing more knowledge could result in earning more money later in life.

By Jared Simmons Hate crimes: a result of Trump’s presidency, right? His hateful rhetoric combined with his racist, sexist, and Islamophobic supporters were guaranteed to rile up protesters. He enables hate through his speech and is the source of all these newfound crimes. It becomes increasingly hard to believe these statements as more time passes following Trump’s successful campaign. As protests erupt all over the country, some of the left has begun to show their true colors. This isn’t a generalization. Nobody can properly deny the fact that members of the left have the potential to be just as bad as any racist, sexist, or islamophobic American. Whether it be BLM “protests” or other politically charged, isolated incidents, some people on the left are beginning to build their own track record. Despite Hillary Clinton winning the popular vote, Trump won more electoral votes - 279 compared to Clinton’s 228 - and became the President-elect. This is now the fifth time that the electoral college has voted a candidate that does not have the popular vote into office. |
