By Sarah Larkin School lunches are infamous for being inedible, but Wilson is attempting to improve their choices. The cafeteria has gotten a salad bar which is a much needed upgrade to the boxed salads that used to frequent the lunch line. The school is also creating a week of the student body’s favorite foods based on students’ votes. But Wilson has made one fatal miscalculation in the lunch improvements: reducing the size of the muffins. By Marlayna McArdle
By Abigail Wurster The 2017 hurricane season seems destined to be the worst hurricane season the entire world has seen in decades. Hurricane Irma has flooded many parts of Florida, and Hurricane Harvey has displaced 32,000 residents of Texas. While the media was actively reporting the damage these disasters were causing to American land, other countries were also getting hit with devastating monsoons and catastrophic flooding. By Treis Way Kendall Jenner is a very popular supermodel that has a wide range of supporters and equally as many haters. With that fame comes the responsibility to know the obvious wrongs within the things she endorses. If Jenner wanted to be, she could be a very influential individual and affect people’s lives for the better. Jenner was in a recent Pepsi commercial that involved a public protest. The commercial in question gave an unrealistic vision of public protest in the modern day and age: some viewers saw the ad including a white supermodel running the Black Lives Matter movement with a can of Pepsi and a smile on her face, people who were offended had the right to be because this is their everyday lives that they’re fighting for. Pepsi missed their mark on their goal of "trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding.” By Nicole Pasterczyk
