By Utkarsh Panchal The Eagles have gambled once again in hopes of rebuilding the once stellar team. On Thursday, the Eagles traded 5 draft picks for the 2nd overall draft pick from the Cleveland Browns. This trade, in the midst of all the other changes happening to the team, was mainly for the search for a new QB. Howie Roseman, the team’s Executive VP of Football Operations, said that he was planning for this move since January. This search for a new QB may come as a surprise to some people, as the Eagles already have their man: Sam Bradford. The first pick in the 2010 draft from the Oklahoma Sooners, and 2nd year QB for Eagles, seemed like the goto person for the Eagles, after the trading of Matt Barkley and Mark Sanchez. But, after much consideration, the Eagles have decided to test their luck with the draft. Of course, this trade did use up all the other picks they had acquired from the numerous acquisitions during this year’s offseason. So, if this trade does not end well, it may spell doom for the Eagles.
