At the start of every season, we have tryouts to decide who will actually compete against other schools. At tryouts, we play one round (18 holes) each day for 2 days. At the end of the two rounds, the top eight scorers out of everyone trying out become the actual golf team. These eight then compete against other schools. But this top eight doesn't stay the same for long. Each week, we have challenge matches for the seventh and eighth spot on the team. Each challenge match is nine holes. The two best scores get the seventh and eighth spot on the team. Each year, there is also a tournament for the girls on each team in the county. Of these top eight players, the number one spot belongs to Dylan Audi. Dylan is a sophomore at the high school. He has been playing golf for five years now, and has been playing competitively for two years.
