By Lisbeth Segura In February 2013, a teenage Connecticuter boy -- with the help of his girlfriend’s brother and a blizzard -- created a winter wonderland promposal. The boy made the sculpture out of snow overnight so that his girlfriend could see it through the window when she woke up on Valentine’s Day morning. I’m lucky enough to have teachers who are not afraid to talk about their problems with the way the school system is run, whether it be in this district, state or country. For years, Toys R Us had been a major attraction and a fantasy held deeply in the hearts of many children throughout the United States. With the famed toy retailer collapsing, adults stand to lose a major and convenient outlet to entertain their kids and help feed their imagination. However, parents have more control over helping the company get back on track than they think they do. |
